Agents leave a variety of jobs to start their real estate business; within most of those jobs they were an employee of the company. With real estate, they start day 1 as an entrepreneur - immediately thrust into new responsibilities, including setting goals and building a business plan to achieve those goals. To many, the entrepreneurial role is like learning a foreign language. As a result, many shy away from doing the planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation of results, which are critical elements needed to build a long-term viable business.

Therefore, upwards of 80% of agent businesses fail. Their broker may offer the agent guidance, but its ultimately up to the agent to find their own success roadmap. In this class, participants will learn why agents fail, and how to build a successful business.
